Have
a relaxing ski holiday in our refurbished
ski-chalet in the Aletsch Glacier region of
Switzerland this winter season (15 December-12
April 2008).
Our cosy ski-in/ski-out chalet is located at 1700m in the Belalp ski area of Valais. While unknown to the Brits, this family-friendly resort offers 60km of varied skiing up to 3100m on sunny south-facing slopes with spectacular views to the Matterhorn and over the Aletsch Glacier Unesco World Heritage Site.
Toboggan run, snow-shoeing, winter walking trails, indoor swimming pool, sauna and restaurant are all on the chalet doorstep. In winter the whole area is car-free so access is by cable-car and ski-do, for a romantic start to your holiday. Nearby ski areas such as Reideralp and Saas Fee are easily reached using the excellent Swiss integrated travel system.
The chalet is also available for summer hiking and site-seeing from June-September with car parking under the chalet in summer.
Chalet sleeps six people in three bedrooms, has two bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops & microwave, wood-burning fireplace, DVD/CD and Satellite TV.
Super train connections (via Brig) - or car-hire - from the airports at Geneva, Basel, Bern, Zurich or even Milan.
