Every Wednesday, Beavers meet at 5.30 – 6.30 pm and Cubs at 6.45 - 8.15 pm
Scouts meet every Friday at 7.30 - 9.00 pm

With the weather staying fine, but with enough of breeze to fill the sails, eleven Scouts (and one Cub Scout) completed the first week’s training, and others will be setting sail over the next couple of weeks.
The lads were instructed first on the boats on dry land before they took to the water in the Club’s “Oppis” and “Toppers” either on their own or in pairs. The Scouts had a great time with only one capsize, and that a deliberate one “just for fun”!
The Scouts experience at Redesmere Sailing Club will count towards their Basic and Advanced Nautical Skills badges. If you are interested in learning how to sail at your local club, why not check out the RSC website at www.redesmere.org.uk.
