houses, the Mansion and Tudor Old Hall, in 1000 acres
of parkland with lakes, tree-lined avenues and herds
of red and fallow deer. There are beautiful gardens
and a working farm. Tatton Park has frequent

of transporting canal boats a vertical distance of
approx. 60ft. between the Weaver Navigation and the

corn mill, close to Welsh Row on the A34. I'm told

lived in this imposing building. Originally
constructed in the early 18th century, much of the
central part was rebuilt following a fire in 1861.
