Superfast update

Chelford needs Superfast Broadband to keep up with modern life on the Internet. People when looking for a place to live are more likely to choose somewhere that has superfast broadband and that can be reflected in houses prices. Register with
ConnectingCheshire to enhance Chelford's chances of getting Super Broadband 2. We need to get 50% of residents signed up to demonstrate our commitment. Currently, only 15% have registered.

Chelford Junior Players are "over the moon" at winning the the Best Junior Play award with their one act sci-fi comedy "Can you see it from here?" at Chelford Drama Festival. Adjudicator Ian Hornby described it as a stunning performance and was amazed to find out that it was the Juniors' first attempt at a play.

It's A Long Way To Commute ….

The Station volunteers have become a truly international team with the welcome addition of Susan Taylor who commutes from Los Angeles to make sure that all is lovely at Chelford Station. And, yes, she does travel by train but not all the way. The Station Volunteers' Report explains all.
Sunday Cycling

John Concannon and John Lea are hoping to start a Sunday Cycle ride for over 40s. The plan is to cycle 30 to 50 miles each trip on local lanes on road bikes taking between 2½ and 4 hours.  If you're interested in joining in, click here
Wind in the Willows theme for Chelford Brownies Pack Holiday

Toad, Badger and Mole were key characters during the recent Chelford Brownies’ Pack Holiday weekend away at Ashley Activity Centre near Mobberley, there were plenty of crafts and hunts to keep the girls busy.

Residential girls on their first Pack Holiday gained Pack Holiday Badge and those on their second gained Pack Holiday Advanced badge.
